This course of Instruction is in the Art of Gun fighting. Designed for First-time and experienced shooters who want to sharpen or re-sharpen their pistol skills.
After the completion of this course you will have the basic fundamentals to use a firearm to defend yourself.
This Course is highly recommended prior to making that first firearm purchase. It will help you make the right decision in selecting the proper firearm.
Maximum two Students.
Your Instructor: Local Law Enforcement Agent with over 26 years of professional firearms experience, including SWAT, High risk entries, and close quarter engagements, also a NRA certified instructor in Pistol and Rifle.
Upon arrival at The Gun Range San Diego you will be treated with the utmost respect in a friendly, supportive, and caring manner – by the best trained, most consistent, and most effective staff in the industry. No egos, no boot-camp mentality, just quiet professionals that can train you very quickly to be very effective with a firearm.
You will receive approximately Two to Three hours of individual instruction.
Including the following;
Lecture/Dry-Fire Hand’s on Topics: Primary Firearms Safety Rules, Safe Handling. Difference between handguns available on the market. Firearm Operating systems, nomenclature, Stance, Proper Grip, firearm control, Eye dominance, Sight Alignment, Sight Picture, Trigger manipulation , loading, reloading and unloading,
Approximately 40-60 minutes
Live-Fire Range Drills Include: We will put all of the above principles to use, In addition to instruction in, engaging targets with speed and accuracy from close quarters out to 10 yards.
Firing up to 100 Rounds.
Approximately 90 minutes.
Firearm, Equipment and Ammo: (all-inclusive and provided by the range)
Firearm, 100 rounds of ammo, three targets, hearing and eye protection (per student) or
Bring your own pistol (semi-auto) and 2 magazines minimum.
Suggested attire;
- Wrap around impact resistant eye protection, preferably clear lenses (available at the range), or prescription glasses are acceptable.
- High neckline shirt, (low neckline shirts tend to catch HOT brass & funnel it onto the skin.)
Age Requirements: Minimum age is 18; anyone under the age of 21 must be accompanied by someone 21 years of age or older.
Cost: $265 for one, $480 for couple *Limited to 2 Students*
