Newly constructed in 2015, The Gun Range San Diego is San Diego’s premier shooting range, offering a no compromises, five-star shooting experience with state-of-the-art equipment in a clean, welcoming environment.
Our state of the art facility features 13 25-yard lanes with fully automated, touch-screen operated target computers, the finest ventilation system in the industry, and is built to handle rifle rounds up to .308 and pistol rounds up to .50!
And not only do we offer San Diego’s most exquisite indoor shooting range experience – we do it at prices that are competitive with any of the other, lesser ranges in town! Our range prices are:
- $20 per hour for the first shooter on a lane
- $15 per hour for each additional shooter (maximum of 3 per lane*)
In addition, we offer a $5 discount to all law enforcement, first responders, and active duty military, every day! ($15 lane fee)
We can also provide you with everything you need to have a fun and safe experience at the range, including in-ear and over-the-ear hearing protection, ballistic eye protection, __ types of ammunition and 11 different types of targets! Bring your whole gun and gear collection or come as you are – at The Gun Range San Diego, we’ve got you covered!
A few more key details:
- All shooters who are renting firearms must have at least one other person present. Individuals who are shooting alone may not rent firearms, but can shoot solo if they brought their own firearm with them.
- For groups of 10 people or more, we require a reservation to be made in advance. Please contact us for a reservation so we can ensure the most pleasant experience for you and your group.
- The types of ammo that are allowed on our range are:
- Pistol ammo from .22 to .50 (such as .380, .38, .357 Magnum, 9mm, .44 Magnum, and .45)
- Shotgun ammo up to 12ga. (00 buckshot or slugs only)
- Rifle ammo up to .308 (such as .223/5.56mm, and .308 Win.)
- Only standard ammo such as full metal jacket, soft-points, or hollow-points may be used. No birdshot or steel core rifle ammo may be fired on our range. (If you are not sure if your ammo fits these criteria, please consult our Range staff.)
